My Approach
I have experienced a calling very early on in life to be in the service of others. I find it truly rewarding to be able to offer compassion and counsel to those in need. I have over 13 years of experience as a professional clinical social worker, but have been involved in social causes since I was very young.  I have certainly encountered my fair share of difficulties in life, but those experiences have shaped me into the balanced person I am today.

I am most passionate about mentoring youth; I love their ability to play and marvel at the wonder of the world, despite the challenges they encounter. I have  helped many people over the course of my career, but those people have also filled me with a sense of honor and hope for all they have overcome.

I have been called a good listener, insightful, and easy to talk to. I love to laugh, and use humor often. I am grateful for the compliment of being chosen to bear witness to your life as it unfolds, and enthusiastic to be your therapuetic partner on your journey. I can tell you that I will do my part to work very hard to get to know you, and adapt my treatment approach to fit your unique needs.

As much as life can be a challenge, I have found wisdom and peace in the most simplest of places.  I look forward to meeting you soon, and working together on your goals.
" Keep your Inner river Flowing"

There is a powerful metaphor that describes people mastering life's chaos and challenges when they mimic the River, and not the rock.

The River keeps moving forward, flexible, invigorated, and constant as it traverses around the rocks-the rocks which are endlessly being eroded and molded by other elements.

Each and every one of us possess the primal instincts, and intuition to keep moving forward in life, and flow like the River.
